POST EPISODE 10 My Faith Journey
This weeks show is a little different. I decided to share with all of you, my cousin’s interview of me about my faith journey and what that has looked like as a traditional Catholic married to a nonbeliever. This episode may be a little more tame as far as my language, but I was trying to be respectful of her followers. However I think it is relatable to both Catholics and Protestants alike. Debbie shared some inspiring bible quotes in her Ladies Lounge and I wanted to share them with you as well they are posted below. Please go follow Debbie on IG at @brahmckinzie and you can request to join her ‘’The Ladies Lounge closed group’’ on FB. Scriptures for Encouragement: 1 Peter 3:1-2 - "Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives." 1 Corinthians 7:13-14 - "And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband." 2 Corinthians 6:14 - "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" Philippians 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Matthew 19:26 - "But Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.'" Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Isaiah 40:31 - "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Romans 15:13 - "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Ephesians 4:2-3 - "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
